What benefits do I get for having a dashboard?
Dashboards are your window to navigate your system with intention. If components are set to solve specific challenges on a micro level, then dashboards are meant to solve challenges on a macro level.
For example, the Success Plan component helps you make a plan for success - but only in the realms of Goals, Key Results, Projects, and Tasks. In contrast, the Daily Planning dashboard helps you plan your day, interacting with not only the Success Plan component, but also the Areas Of Competence component, Daily Quest component and many more.
By separating our dashboards and our components, it makes it really easy for us to create different types of ways for us to visualize the information found inside our system to really help us make our lives better with intention.

Section 1 | Views of databases that help you see and understand your situation at a glance. This is to help you see important information the moment you open your dashboard. |
Section 2 | Views of database that help you take action to improve your situation. You would typically put databases that you would use daily. |
Using Your Dashboard
How do I use a dashboard to make life better?
We’ve included dashboards that we think would be most helpful for you in our Notion Template Packs.
Each dashboard only uses linked views of the components so that whenever you want make changes to the look and feel of the database, it doesn’t affect the main database unless you make changes to the data or directly to the properties!

Customizing Your Dashboards
What can I do with my dashboards to make it fit my needs better?
We strongly encourage you to make changes and customize your dashboard! Use our dashboards as a base to build your own. If you are worried about messing up anything, you can always duplicate the dashboard included and make changes on the new copy.
Dashboards are your own expression of self. You can really do anything you want with your system!

- Tweak colors and theme
- Add views of components from other templates
- and much more.
